Day 2El SalvadorEL SALVADOR : Half day sightseeing tour of San Salvador City, visiting the residential districts, International Fair Grounds, national Museum, National Palace, National University, the Cathedral, Cuscatlan Park and many other places of interest. Overnight at Holiday Inn Hotel (B)
Day 3San SalvadorSAN SALVADOR -The Imposible National Park : EL Imposible National Park was created in 1989. This Park is internationally recognize for its biological richness which includes an extension of 5,458 acres and with good luck you will see the Quetzal and the Torogoz -The National Bird of El Salvador. Overnight hotel Radisson (B)
Day 4San SalvadorSAN SALVADOR Joyas del Ceren/Tazumal Ruins : Located 50 miles from San Salvador. It is one of the richest Archaeological Zones in the country. The main pyramid is dated 1,500 B.C. It was one of the biggest Mayan centers. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 5San SalvadorSAN SALVADOR Artesian Tours : Visiting San Sebastian and Tobasco -Located 22 miles from San Salvador, it is a small town known for their typical textile handicrafts like hammocks
Day 6SALINITAS SAN SALVADOR-SALINITAS : Trasnsfer to the all inclusive super Decarmeron in Salinitas. All meals, daily activities, drinks (alcoholic & soft) and nightly shows are all included.
Day 7SALINITAS SALINITAS : At leisure to enjoy the all inclusive resort. All meals included
Day 8CopanSALINITAS-COPAN : Transfer and early morning overland departure for Copan, Honduras. Here you will visit the archaeological site which contains the greatest collection of Mayan sculptures anywhere in Central America. Overnight at hotel, MARINA COPAN (AB)
Day 9SAN PEDRO DE SULACOPAN-SAN PEDRO DE SULA : Morning at leisure to explore the area on your own. After return to San Pedro Sula. Overnight at Gran Hotel Sula.Overnight Marina Copan. (B)
Day 10SAN PEDRO DE SULASAN PEDRO DE SULA : Morning tour of San Pedro Sula to visit one of the many banana plantations in the area. Here you will receive a brief history- how they are planted, harvested, transported and packed for shipping. You will visit the headquarters village of La Lima, home of the Chiquita Banana. Upon returning to San Pedro Sula visit the museum, the residential areas, and the Guamilito artisan market to do your souvenir shopping. (B)
Day 11CUSUCO NATIONAL PARKSAN PEDRO DE SULA -CUSUCO NATIONAL PARK : Depart early by 4x4 vehicles to climb to 6800 ft to the fast growth forest of el Cusuco National Park. Upon arrival at the visitors center, hike the different trails admiring the flora and fauna. You will see giant ferns, orchids, bromeliads and other plants and if you are lucky you will see the resplendent Quetzal in its breeding grounds observe different birds and flowers. You will be served cold snacks and soft drinks. Return to San Pedro Sula in the early afternoon. (B,L)
Day 12MiamiSAN PEDRO - MIAMI : Transfer to the airport for flight to Miami and connections. (B)
